🐈‍⬛🌙✨ Just a heads up on the 7 day free trial…  

Free membership vs. Free 7 day trial are different things.

• Free membership is Patreon’s option that lets people follow without paying, but it doesn’t give you access to paid tier content or our free 7 day trial

• Free trial only activates when you click “Join” on a paid tier that has the trial enabled.

• If you are only a free member and then try to upgrade to a paid tier, Patreon sometimes skips the trial and goes straight to charging, especially on the app.

How to get the 7-day trial properly:

• Log into Patreon (ideally on a desktop browser – the mobile app is glitchy with trials).

• Go to the Eden and Moon Path page and click “Join” on the tier you want (e.g., Moon Club, Moon Circle, etc.).

• You should see a message like “Start free trial – 7 days free, then £/$X/month”.

You will still need to enter payment details (Patreon requires this to prevent abuse), but you won’t be charged until after the 7 days and you still have the option to cancel after the trial period. 

If you joined first as a free member, the cleanest fix is:
Leave the free membership, refresh, then rejoin directly by selecting the tier with the trial (on desktop).
